Go to www.watchtower.org and see how many pictures you find of someone providing security and you'll get it.

Yeah, most people are fairly easy to manipulate - just take a look at the posts here... you're either a redneck or a liberal... a Christian or a muslim fundamentalist or an angry atheist... a wind up merchant or a politically correct soldier of righteousness... there is little middle ground and there are few individual voices. Everything we "know" has been gleened from a soundbite, a sermon or a newspaper headline.
I guess it's easier to go along with what we are told by a person of aparant authority than to question every fact, every statement. People lack the time, the skill and the inclination. Society has been dumbed down since the sixties gave them all something to really worry about.
Religion - it's about control
Race - it's about obedience
Money - it's about keeping it
Freedom - it's okay so long as it's OUR sort of freedom
Look at the ammount of people who actually believe that crime is on the rise and that more police officers in the streets would help! Ask anyone who actually knows this subject and they'll tell both are false - but that's not what it says in the Daily Mail!!!
I hope they are watching and reading my contributions. They'll think I'm into all kinds of wierd shite... give them something to laugh about anyhow!
And if they are watching, when are you going to release the results of recent findings in the field of recent research into perpetual motion?

I am really not sure how I feel about the whole Big Brother is watching thing....I know they are, but I just don't let it bother me. It's not like I'm doing anything that might qualify as a threat to the US security or anything.
To answer your question though, I don't believe that all people conform as easily as you make it. I think that open-minded people have a better chance of sticking up for their beliefs and not believing everything they hear. I will listen to someone with a different viewpoint, as skewed as I think it is, and if they make a good point, I'll let them know. It doesn't mean, however, that I will believe every word they say and change my mind.
I'm pretty set in my ways. It would take a lot for me to conform.

First question conforming.... when someone u trust or u want them to like you lets say. You will most undoubtedly go with there decision based solely on your respect level for this person.. hence, word of mouth and trust factors.. **everyone does this** no research involved in the conforming of your attitude. Pure laziness is the key factor here. Naturally we try to do less and gain more.
Second Question: Subliminal messaging over speakers and television, radio, phone. **subliminal messaging is a voice in the background of what u r listening to originally** your mind is absorbing the original content of the message via- communications you listen to.............
No one on this gods green earth likes there life controlled .. but its a fact it is! The people will not admit this!! Slowly, right under our noses the USA has been doing this for years... plans of attack upon our own nature.. of humanity........... the USA is conforming us slowly ... yes to the freedom of speech without it getting us really anywhere............. talk all we want to....mmmm... we are turning into a Communist country ..........ugh......Take a good look around you. You see it in all aspects.

Nothing new here either
fools are just that.
Are you trying to lump everyone except you and I into some special form?
Your rant has no merit it has all been said before.
"You can fool some of the people all the time and _-_- so on"
"a fool and his money _- _ -"
I want to know why Naturism isn't a recognized religion.
No one is controlling me. But I have serious concern about you.

with no prior experience, mind is susceptible to suggestion. however once the mind accepted a suggestion as a fact it is rather difficult to accept anything different even rationally it is clearly incorrect. i believe it is really important to know when to unlearn.

People are pleasers and want to be liked. Therefore, that's the reason they conform so easily.

I agree with you, and will give you my answer- It's just easier to go along with everything. I don't have it in me, and neither do others, apparently, to fight it.
