and you can use the mic when you talk if you can make a doble click in the sound icon and chose mic put it in the higher level

Double-click the 'sound' icon in your system tray (down there beside the clock) and click Advanced, then click Recording Devices and make sure there's a tic in the box next to mic. good luck :-)

make sure that its selected for recording and not line in or something and turn the mic vol up, click on the speaker icon, then go to Options, then Properties, click on recording then OK, make sure mic is selected and the vol is up

Sometimes the mic may get muted. Check the sound in Control Panel and uncheck "mute".
