I mean, when you see other couches, they are always talking on the mic, getting mad at players, yelling, pointing, or at least walking! Art Shell stands there with a face that makes you wonder if he's stoned, yes , stoned AND stunned.

No... it is not his fault the Raiders are this bad, it is ALL Al Davis. No one wants to coach the Raiders becasue of Davis.....

I think the NFL should force AL Davis to sell his team, then they can start with firing the GM and getting somebody in there who will take players that can play rather than players that have reps. It's not always a coaches fault, what does Art Shell have to work with? Crappy QBs, worthless running backs, a bad OL, if Art Shell and Jackie Slater (both hall of fame OL) can't get an OL to block well then there isn't any talent on it. Do you really think with the lack of talent on this years team that Mike Shanahan or John Gruden or John Madden would be doing any better?? I think not. Maybe they should move the team to L.A. again and start all over!

Art Shell was a HOF player. This is his 2nd go-around w/the Raiders & he has proven that the first time was no fluke. He is a horrible coach. I admire Al Davis for wanting to take care of his former players, but put Shell in the front office shuffling papers or smiling for the public where he can't disgrace the Raiders on the field anymore.

The whole team is in turmoil from the coach to the players. Al Davis needs to do a total revamp, starting at the top. Right now, even the Houston Texans can beat them.

Yes, but where else are you gonna find another coach that is going to put up with Al Davis' interference. He is the one that really has to go as Managing General partner.

no he shouldn't. he didn't get all the players he needed. u don't have a core of good players thats why u loose. everyone is out of sync. u can see during the game plus no QB. its hard to win without QB. give him some time and players that he requires. get rid of some of the players who are useless and may be he can put some scheme together each sunday. if he fails then y can fire him but not with this talent common.

Cheers!!!!

Al Davis is the priority. If he desires to hearth every person he can start up with himself because of the fact the performing GM. The group is 11-34 under him of their final forty 5 video games. it's time to get a real GM to get this group decrease back on course lower back.
