Destinys Child was created by Beyonce's dad as her avenue to stardom, and it worked very well. She is prettier and a more talented singer than any other girl that was ever in the group. She is not an Indie artist (like myself). She can't just sing whatever she wants or look however she wants. She has people who are paid a fortune to maintain her mainstream pop image. Of course there is a degree of fakeness involved, as with every celebrity. I've seen Oprah on a movie set without make up, and trust me, I didn't recognize her at first glance. I am a huge fan of Beyonce and admire her fame. She has devoted her life to becoming a star and has succeeded. Being the center of attention gets nobody anywhere unless they can maintain the position. Rarely does an original sounding pop star appear in our lives. Whitney, Mariah, Madonna, Cher and Beyonce all have one thing in common. They showed the world that they are not like everyone else. Many have tried to sound just like them, but few succeed, and when they do, they are just wannabes. Beyonce is the real deal and she works very, very hard to stay original yet appeal to the masses. I am sure this wasn't the answer you were looking for, but I tell it like I see it, not like others want to hear it.

I really don't like her. I may be silly but I'm still kind of mad about the original DC break up. I know I need to let it go. But all the trash talk about people not being able to sing wasn't right. Letoya Luckett is sounding pretty good to me right now. May have taken a while, but she's here.

Cant help it if the girl with the strongest voice takes the lead. (Its called putting the best foot forward.) Would you like a music group with 2 weak singers and one strong singer get equal air time? :) Besides i think that group exists because of Beyonce, without her they will join the thousands of girl group wanna be s.

I didn't like her too much in destiny's choild but, i think she's better off as a solo artist!

I used to like her but she is overexposed, but she isn't going anywhere soon that for sure. I still enjoy some of her music though.

that's what her father groomed her for to be in the spotlight. i like her but we really need a break from her. she needs to take a break for a couple of years and then come back

i like her....yes she would take the lead....especially since her dad was the manager....and her mom the stylist.....but furthermore....if she had no talent she would not be here this long.....
