i'm not sure exactly what you wanted to know about the states but i can tell you that CA is the very best. not comparable to any other state. best weater, best attitude of people living there, best wages, best views, best sights to see. etc

I can't tell from your question what particular things about these state interest you. I have lived in California for many years, Virginia for 5 years and Texas for almost 2 years. I have visited, or lived in, all the other states save Maine and Hawaii. If you have specific questions or topics you want information on contact me through my profile.

If you just want a ranking of my preference of the states listed, here goes:

1. New Mexico
2. Texas
3. Carolina's
4. Virginia
50. California

This may sound funny but if I could return to any state I have ever lived in I would have to toss a coin between Arizona and Alaska. I told you it would sound funny.

Since I am a Texan of course the best place to live is Texas. If you like snow then live in the north part of the state. If you prefer heat then try the south or the Mexican border towns. We have big cities and small towns and everything between.
My sister used to live in California but she came back to Texas and is happier here.
I had a friend who worked in West Virginia but came back to Texas.

Except for New Mexico those are all in the South, STAY AWAY. In new Mexico you just have some hot Mexican chicks to deal with

California isn't in the south oops
It's too expensive to live there though
