A modular home is built in a factory in several pieces and brought to your site and erected.
Manufactured home is a fancy name for a big trailer house.

Modular homes are prefabricated in a factory and assembled on site. You can probably choose the design by selecting from a choice of modules prior to assembly. I think all homes, modular and built any other way are manufactured in its broadest sense.

there is no difference! Modular homes is just a more "classy" way of saying manufactured!Hope this helps!
