I prefer a nice warm swimming pool but I will swim in a lake if it is not too dirty looking or too weedy.. I am not fond of salt water and rivers kinda creep me out. I have never had the urge to swim in a hot tub because I get too relaxed.

Technically, you can't "swim" in a hot tub.
I prefer pools. I hate to swim in other bodies of water because I can't see what is beneath me!

a swimming pool...i hate the pain of walking on the hot sand and then the hard rocks just to almost drown trying to get over the waves. The swimming pool is way safer

I like to swim in the lake......early in the morning, or late in the evening. The calm of the water.
