Probably, but always unintentionally. I make a conscious effort not to react to race alone. I will, however, react to presentation and respond accordingly. So if someone's behavior indicates they they are rude or arrogant or ignorant of the subject they are speaking of, I will react negatively. Likewise, I respond positively to people who present themselves as polite, compassionate, or educated. But race isn't a factor. I react that way to people of all races.

That depends on if you're talking about being racist in thought, or in action. We all have preconception of something, a lot we get from experience. When we know that a certain group of people is targeting to attack us, we can't help to become suspicious when we see a person from this particular group. Acting out in a racist way is another thing, there might not be a good reason for such behavior. So it's yes and yes. When I see people I feel I have racist feeling towards, I treat them better for fear they know how I feel in my mind about them.

Yes...my parents were very racist and it took a couple of decades as an adult (and a lot of reading and study) for me to get that early training out of me...it's not all gone, but working on it. Still lapse into it when someone mentions Osama Bin Laden.

But I keep trying, very difficult though cause I fall back into old "tapes" that start running if I'm not careful.

I was, twice, when I was in third grade.
First time, I called this girl a big black cow.
Second time, I told my friend our teacher was a crazy white lady.

I think everyone, no matter what the race, is racist as least once in their lives. Either on purpose or on accident.

To be very honest with you I have in the past I had a thing against Mexicans for a while and that was only because I kept listening to my grandmother spew out all this nonsense talk about them. Since I moved away from her I found out that the Mexican community are a very close knit group of people that believes in helping each other and they are very good at economical stuff. They have created more businesses here in California then I have seen in the past.
Some of them are very nice and courteous and very willing to take the time to teach you there language.
As I have gotten to know them and be around them I have to say that they are some wonderful people and I don't have not one single problem at all with them living around us or working around us. After all they are human just like you and me.

I believe everyone has, and at some point and time didn't realize they were doing it. A lot of racism goes on b/c of stereotyping. The media and other forums categorize people by thier skin color and what a few people of that particular race does. I've found out you can't judge a person by their color or the clothes that they wear.

I believe I have. Maybe not intentionally. I may make remarks to my husband or something. Later I may say it's not right. Like the eses (i think that's how you spell it) are taking over the neighborhood. I'm never blatantly racist, but I do think about my remarks and I know that it isn't right of me.

It would not make any sense to me, yet i did not see the place he wrote he hated biracial toddlers. What he wrote isn't clever by any ability. i don't discover something incorrect with mixing races. it quite is been executed for the reason that human beings walked the earth. some white has mixed with different white, white with black, black with white, etc etc. would not make it incorrect. Biracial toddlers are perfect. All toddlers are. lack of understanding is what make human beings say stupid issues. As for why they believe in it, i could project to assert they don't probable have an answer for that. additionally they issues it quite is "incorrect" which isn't a reason in any respect.

Ugh, yeah. Against whites. Which is kinda weird, since I'm white. I spent elementary in a mainly hispanic, asian, and black community, and when I moved to a place where half the school was white, I was freaked out and tried to stay away from them, i never said anything bad or anything though. Now I know better, but then it was weird.
