I know everyone says they suck, but I love them. Their music speaks to me in ways that Mozart, Choplin, Miles Davis, and Cher speak to others. I get called names a lot for my belief that Creed is the best band to walk the face of the earth.

Is it wrong to love creed?

side question: Can I sue someone for a hate crime if they wrote "CREED SUCKS" on my car with toothpaste?

Creed is one of the few bands that transended Christian Rock into the Mainstream. That alone is an accomplishment.

They have great lyrics and a great sound that, before being copied, was unique. It isn't wrong to like them any more than it is to like any other band.

You can't sue someone for that being a "hate crime", but if it did any damage to your car you're legally able to sue them. However, unfortunately it would more than likely go to small claims court, which means that you might be spending more in legal fees, etc. than you would for the amount that you were owed. ...or so I've heard.

Well, there is nothing wrong with liking Creed, but I just don't think they are the best thing, but then again, look at me, I love Metallica...

You can sue only if it is a hate crime like religious or racial. I am not so sure about sue, but I know you can file for someone's arrest. However it is tooth paste so I don't think much damage was done. Sorry I can't help you further.

Creed is awesome and there is nothing wrong about loving them. Suing is expensive you will need to file a civil case against the person who did it. These cases are hard because Lawyers want to be paid first because their are no guarantees that you will win it goes to a jury and then you have to pray that the jury is on your side or you just paid for and lost a lot of money.

lol that's funny. But who cares who thinks creed sucks. I sorta like "Creed" but I prefer Metallica, rob zombie etc....

I can careless for Creed, and who cares what others think of him. You like him. So be it. And about the suing part. I ain't making fun of u but it's funny. Yea I don't think you could sue somebody from writing on the car. Matter of fact, I done this to someone when I was 15 and they never sued me. Go to the police and try to keep them away

No, its not wrong to love Creed.

It would cost you a hell of a lot more to sue than just get a wet rag and wipe the toothpaste off your car. Get a life!

You are free to love whatever music you like. As far as your car is concerned if you can provide proof that the toothpaste caused any damage, then yes you can sue them.

creed's alright

people have a tendency not to like them because of some of their lyrics...which is a crock. their lyrics are what make their songs good. but people take issue with the mesage of their songs...which is ok. it probably means they did something right!

but who the hell has cher ever inspired??? lol that's funny
