I have seen and heard all about the northern lights..but I never have heard anything about the South Pole...does it have electromagnetic activity similar to the North ?? Does it have Aurora Borealis displays ?? Would the South Pole be the + or - pole ??

Yes it does, and the charge will be positive. The alpha particles are attracted to the south pole and that is what u see the results of.That makes up the Van Allan belt that protects us from the radiation. North pole negative .

Yes. The phenomenon is called aurora australis. There is really no scientific reason for designating the north the "top"
