You may be Welsh and British (But the English will never accept you as one of them).

Your forefarters like the rest of the celts of the British Isles have suffered at the hands of the English. You going to say this is wrong? It never happened. Get a grip!

I have nothing against the English people. It is their governments (past and present) and their destruction of my country and people that I am against. So get your wee brain working and see the big picture. The English willingly murdered, raped and plundered my country, your country, Scotland and many other countries all over the world. They built their empire on the blood of millions of people! So catch yourself on and open your eyes to what the English done.

Yes you may be british, but you are Welsh and many an Englishman will tell you so!

I am english and proud of it, but i am also proud of the united kingdom of great britian and northern ireland! I am proud to be part of the same country as scotland, i love scotland and its proud history. Yes some of the english did horrible things in scotland and elsewhere, but it was with the help of scottish people both in scotland and abroad! I work with a lot of scots from corby in england, and they are the most racist people iv met, mainly against the english! But the people in scotland itself are in the main, in my experience some of the freindliest people iv met, especialy in the highlands, be proud to be scottish, and BRITISH!

What is wrong with people that they hate the history of the British Empire.
The choices of the day were to be a part of Spain (ask the Incas if they thought much of that) ....France...once mor a lot of cruelty went on under the heel of the French or The British Empire.
What did we give the world ? Well democracy....Education and in the end freedom.
On the subject of slavery we didn't invent it...the Africans were dealing in slavery long before we arrived but we did end it and the Royal Navy went out onto the high seas to enforce the abbolition.
In the second world war we stood alone against the might of Hitler to ensure freedom for the world.
I am an Englishman and British and yes i do cheer the other British nations on in all their sporting events.

Get a life. You are very very very sad man.

Give me some hard proof about the English "Murdering" the Welsh. It was the NORMANS you moron in the 13th Century!!! Give me one instance of "the English" "murdering" Welsh people in the 18th and 19th centuries. I studied Welsh History at Uni at Cardiff and we must have missed that bit.

Some English people exploited the coal and iron seams in Wales. Thats about it.

Tell me when the "English" ever murdered the Welsh?????

As for my nationality - I am Welsh AND British you idiot! Can you not understand that?

I can tell you one thing - the IRA have murdered Welsh AND English people in their indiscriminate civillian bomb attacks. They piss me off far more than the English.

You need to get a life. Or a hobby.

BTW my fiancee is English as are many of my good friends and they are lovely people. They have great respect for Wales and our culture. Some of them are even learning our language. I will NOT stand by and listen to them being slagged off by a moron who does not know what they are talking about!

What the hell are you on about?
The English will tell us we are welsh, because we are flucking welsh, they ain't going to say we are bl**dy English are they, but for a small minority though, they do say we are British!
Well, I guess they support the welsh in Olympics as they represent GB, as I support the Scots, English.
Get a grip and leave history where it belongs, in the past!
