Having gone bankrupt in 2005 (now released) I have an income payments agreement in place until Nov 2008.

Now finally having the opportunity, I am looking to go to Univeristy in September 2007 (something I decided against 5 years ago due to credit cards and car loans!) However I will not be working whilst at University and if I do it will be purely to help cover my accommodation costs etc.

Is anyone able to advise me how this will affect my IPA? Will I be in breach of my agreement? Or will it be altered to resume after I have finished my degree, or will the agreement be canceled all together as it will be after my 3 year period of backruptcy?

I would really appreciate anyone's kind help and input on this one.

Whilst I realise Citizens Advice is probably the way forward, I thought I'd ask on here in case anyone can relate!

Thanks very much.

You will have to take a letter from your university proving you are a student, and a list of your curriculum and hours, and they will restate your IPA. This will be in lieu of working hours, and should cause no problem. But they have to be able to document it, and cover themselves.
