I've heard of the korean version, but have yet to see it - if you want to get the full picture, I'd read the novel, then watch the Japanese one and then the American one, but the Japanese one is the best.

Saw the American and Japanese version and am still trying to find out what all the fuss was about. I didnt get this film at all and didnt find it one bit scary

Didn't even though there was a Korean version :)
But, yes, I would go with Ringu *Japanese* all the way!

Ringu because Japanese movies are always more gruesome and violent and the American remakes always are rated pg-13.
