Good grief but are you about to be deluged with answers.

Short Answer:
Stick with your PS2 for the time being - there are so many good games available and coming out for it.

Long Answer:
The PS3 is great if you have a wide-screen television. Developers are all complaining about the PS3, which could mean there will be a shortage of titles for it. Also, it will cost around $600, which is a LOT of money for a game console.

The Wii has a lot of developers interested, but Nintendo has a bad history of burning 3rd party support, so it may be another console of theirs that is a great system for playing Nintendo own games and nothing else. Still, it will cost less than half what the PS3 will.

Xbox 360 has a lot of developer support, is priced between the other two consoles, and plays many titles for the original Xbox. Still, it has been available for almost a year and there haven't been any "killer aps" that anyone just has to play.

Most of these settings should be self-explanatory. There are a few areas of interest, though. First, the "User" menu. Like the Xbox 360, the PS3 will allow multiple user accounts on a single system. When you start up the PS3, you'll be able to select the current user, thus avoiding confusion with save game files and other settings.

Another notable element of the interface is the "System Update" option. This selection is also present on the PSP, where it's used to update the system's firmware with new features and new defenses against piracy. Sony will be staging system updates for the PS3, maybe.

The PlayStation Store option is where you'll go to purchase downloadable content.

Most intriguing is the Remote Play option. This feature will allow you to view PS3 video on your PSP via Wi-Fi. It's unclear if this is just for video footage, or if games will actually be playable through this option. The Remote Play functionality will be possible on the 60 gigabyte PS3 model. The functionality can also be accessed from the 20 Gig model if you invest in a Wi-Fi adapter.

All of the games will be similar on the PS3 to the PS2, so there really is no point as Sony is dedicated to the PS2 still and will continue to roll out great games. The 360 is not that great of a system. The Wii is where it's at. New innovation of gameplay. More than the traditional feel of your PS2. So, if your going to keep your PS2, go with a Wii to get two different types of gameplay. Hope I've influenced you enough to make the Nintendo console your next purchase

In my experience x-boxs are a good investment for the money. My ps2 crapped out on me like 3 times and I had to send it in to get fixed. With my X-box, it has never crapped out. It is a first generation X-box. It still works to this day and never ever had a problem. Since I liked the x-box I invested in a 360. and also never had one problem. The only thing with 360's u "HAVE TO" buy the fans which are only like 20 bucks. This helps so that the disks dont get burnt so u dont waste 60 bucks. Wii sounds to be good. Heard it will be around 250 bucks (and thats the bundle) which isnt bad. Ps3 is going to be around 800+ for the bundle. I wont invest in that for about a year. Considering all the problems they've had in the past and wait until the price goes down. But if u do decide to invest in a 360's I recomend the game Dead Rising. Its a short game but there is massive amounts of stuff to do in the game.

Well I like Nintendo, they have been in this business area for more than 10 years, I like the games some are easy to play, with Wii I like that you can interact more in the game and more cheap than the others.

XBOX 360 I have it, and really I haven't play it yet 'cuase I haven't seen a good RPG game.

If you read the reviews, the Wii has a better review than the other two systems BY FAR.

Ask game store employees! They know their stuff. The ones I talk to say the Wii as well.

Why? It seems to be most "out of the box." Whereas the other systems are "better systems", the Wii is something very different.

i would go and buy the PS3 and then sell your PS2 for $540.00 and then use that money to buy the PS3. The reason i would is because you can get the upgrade you want and also make money.

If you have an HD tv, definitely go with the XBox 360... but it totally depends on what games you're into.
