At 19 you have probably stopped growing. Do not despair I am 5'0" and my husband is 6'2" as well. I wouldn't have it any other way.

You will be helped a far greater amount by putting this energy into accepting your body size for the way it is. It is doubtful that measures to increase tallness work at all, but at the age of 19, it is certainly too late to try them. Does your boyfriend insult or tease you about your height? Or is it coming just from inside yourself? I really think the best thing is to try to accept it. Your relationships and your life will be damaged more by your negative view of yourself, than from your height. I know several couples where the man is very tall and the woman is very short, and it doesn't matter at all - we don't see the difference, even when they are hugging or dancing, because they are so positive and in love.

There isn't much you can do to grow taller apart from bone streaching which is a long and painful process, try to disguise your height by wearing clothes that make you look taller, like long tops and long coats, try to wear a bit of a heal, it will add at least an inch. Don't get depressed, remember good things come in small packages.

Well Kitten, I think that you probably know the answer to this in your heart. At 19, it is unlikely that yo will grow any more, no matter what you do. So, you are going to have to accept it - your boyfriend has so why should you worry.

High heels are an option for those special occasions - you just need to practice with them.

I am 5'9" and a couple of months ago i realized that I had never experienced a man being able to pick me up, hold me and just make love to me. On the other hand, I can reach the top shelf of the closet.

At 19, you are not likely to gain height. But I bet your BF likes you just the way you are. So buy a step ladder and accept the joys of who you are.

Well, unless there is something I haven't heard of yet, there is no way to add to your height besides wearing heels. Try to find more comfortable heels. I am about 5''2 (18 years old) and I've come to accept my height. Don't think of your height difference with your boyfriend in a negative way-say, "well, he can protect me."

'i want to be taller?' isn't a question.
But if you want to ask how you can make yourself taller, I'd advise you to go to some sort of doctor; first of all to ask if he can help you realise your dream. When he tells you that there's no decent way to do it without spending an enornous amount of money and going through a lot of pain, he'll probably then advise you to seek professional help to resolve the problems you have with your mind.

I understand your concern and feeling self concious but I really dont think there is anything you can do to make yourself taller. Unless you are still growing. Love who you are and accept that you are beautiful just the way you are. Dont be so hard on yourself.
