As a sentient being, I am here to understand life as a whole. Myself which is the part of the whole consciousness has the innate longing for peace and happiness. To achieve this longings is to see and discover the illusions in my mind created by my ignorance about life. Every unreality that is being uncover in my mind is an immediate transformation for the whole consciousness. To live is to learn and understand the unreal. The dissolution of illusion is to receive this unlimited intelligence that is just waiting for us to see. An intelligent individual can live harmoniously with everybody and everything.

Not enough, I guess. I try to see my existence as a guest on this planet and use only biodegradeable, simple products where possible. I bring my kids up aware of the environment, aware of other cultures and other ways of living, aware that happiness lies within and not at the store, appreciative of the wonder and power of nature - we live very simply in a heatingless farmhouse in France. I also find that I have a lot of people who turn to me for advice. I have been in some very dark places in my life and have dug my way out and feel fantastic these days. I am so grateful for that, so grateful that I want to pay it forward and I know that I've spent a lot of time helping my friends and family with personal problems which I can do because I feel so strong myself.
It's a good question, because I don't feel powerful to make big changes, but I know how important it is. What about you?

The mere fact that we are of the species we are we then are indeed part of the whole planet and therefore each one of us is contributing something even though we are unaware of it.
As a human one is always in motion and achieving something, most likely that which is required of each of us.
There certainly are some over achievers, and they can and do more for mankind than others, but as far as the planet is concerned we are all as a "drop is to the ocean", therefore we are the ocean. "a particle of the planet" therefore we are of the planet.

I'm trying to use the minimum amount of resources during my stay on this planet and I'm not going to procreate. that way I don't contribute to overpopulation which could jeopardize the entire species in the long run.

Not sure I am achieving, but am striving, to open minds beyond religious/national/regional boundaries. Closed minds breed misunderstanding and foster ......controlled/manipulated guilt /anger stuff. Tolerance of difference does not mean 'soft'. Human kind are too fucussed on 'self', in my humble opinion, and should be looking more at the natural world. If we fail to sustain it, it will, inevitable, fail to sustain us.

Why would I give a hoot if I'm achieving something for someone else? Then you get all twisted up in ego. Better to just duck your head and give er.
