Graphic design involves much more that excel, word and powerpoint. Word and powerpoint will help you to do some page layout, but you also will need some artistic skills and be very famililar with programs such as photoshop and other graphic manipulation tools. Try downloading GIMP for a free, very powerful graphic manipulation package.
My roommate is a graphic designer / artist. She has a BFA, with a speciality in typography. Without a degree, the best you can hope for is to find a company that is willing to take you on as an apprentice. If you are really good, you might try building up a portfolio and making appointments with the sales or marketing people of companies looking for such services.
Just remember that going it alone, you'll have to do everything on your own, from layout to editing, etc. This includes proper spelling and word usage, which your question doesn't show. The first sentence is worded ackwardly, and uses 'i' instead of 'I', while the second uses the word 'varies' instead of 'various'.
good luck,

But not good at spelling? (it's various, not varies).
For any good , decent graphic design position, you will need to go to school...jobs these days are hard to come by without that degree. Also gives you a better chance for advancement.
Self-taught experience is low on the totem-pole.
