You have to read the discription and use your best judgement. You need to ask yourself, "How important is it to be totally unused?" - There are a number of things you just should not buy if they were being sold on e-bay. I don't think I would buy a toothbrush on ebay.

It should say in the item description. or you can msg the seller. Also check the packaging when you receive it.
