I think that until society fully accepts homosexuality as innate and not a choice we will have homophobes. These people are closeted because they don't want to be thought of as gay.
I stayed in the closet for 40 years but never really bashed. So I do not truly understand homophobes. I just know that the truly straight people I meet are never homophobic but I have had extreme homophobes hit on me before then get mad at me for their own idea's. Especially when I refused anal sex. Being g0y I do not do anal or effeminate behavior.

Well, I for one never bashed, came out young, but my advice would be rape. Seriously, rape them once, they'll find they like it, and voila. The nice thing about this method is, if they still want to bash after you're done, you can kill'em.

Ok Ok, in all seriousness, you really can't get someone out of the closet, at least not until they're ready or at least open to the idea. As any gay person will tell you, it's an intensely personal journey. That said, you can always try to confront them with an intervention of sorts, but you must be sure. Not much more I can say.

i was never against gays nor did i ever say anything bad towards someone who was gay. I've had plenty said to me on the other hand thou. All you can say is that coming out doesn't change the person they are and people will accept them for who the are.
