Hi I think they dream of what they might see if they could see, and dream about what it would be like to hear. I think that everyone dreams of things they've never seen which is wierd, they might see things we cant and dream things none of us have ever thought of. In dreams I can fly without being in a helecopter, though ive never been on a plain so how would I know how flying feels, I hope your catch my drift.:-)Hayley-May

I expect the experts think they know, but how can they? These poor souls cannot even liken things to other stuff can they? It doesn't bear thinking about as we take vision and hearing for granted. However I can only guess and hope that they can dream about good stuff, and get an idea of what things must be like through a keenly developed sense of touch.

Much of the content of our dreams is thoughts and feelings and actions, so that would be the same.

People blind from birth have a sense of space and location.

I would imagine, though, that you're right in assuming that they don't dream of sights and sounds.

Those who have language (sign language through touch), would converse with others in their dreams.

I wonder, though, if they have the experience I often have of things like "It was my sister, but didn't look like her."
