So, what do you think of last nights game, how about Pujols not doing anything this series, Beltrans home runs, Taguchi and Spizio coming up big, Cardinals rotation/bullpen. OD you think the cardinals will outlast the mets, or will the mets win the next 3 gmaes?

Last night's game was a fluke.

The Cardinals simply took pity on The NY Muts,
and wanted them to think they stood half a chance.

The Cardinals secret plan is to win The NLCS in NY to prove how superior they are.

Cardinals won't lose 3 in a row but unfortunately I don't think they will win the series. Pujols will show back up to what extent??? Weaver has been a pleasant surprise as the the season went on but against Glavine I don't know that he will have the run support needed. Cards bullpen is normally better than last night. I don't know if a bullet would have gotten past the Mets line up

Last nights game was a typical Mets game this year. The Mets could win the next three in a row, or the next seven in a row. It would be fine if the NLCS goes seven games, no long wait to let the bats cool off.

Once we get to the World Series it'll take the Kittens a few games to get their swings back, by then the Mets will have a commanding 3 - 0 series lead and have crushed the hearts of all those fans falling out of the woodworks. Seems like there are few real Tiger fans, and a multitude of bandwagoners. Once the Mets wrap up the whole ball of wax, how many are going to be claiming that they were with us all along?

Let's Go Mets!

The Cards' bullpen had a major meltdown last night, very uncharacteristic for him. Spezio always plays his best in the post-season, it seems (23 RBI in 22 post-season games). Pujols has always performed well in the post-season, until this series with the Mets. I look for him to break out big-time before this series is over. Beltran was a monster yesterday and has been big all series.

Hmmm.......Perez striking out Pujols was one of my favorite plays of the game and Belliard got tagged out on the 3rd inning was good, too. My favorite inning? Definitely the top 6th (that's when the Mets really unleashed their power). I hope the Mets win the series (I don't know about winning the next three games 'cause the Cards are fightin' tooth and nail, too). Anyway, let's go Mets!!!!

it'll be a 7 game series with the mets winning no doubt, and sorry georgie to disappiont you but no way are the cards the dominant team in the NL, they got lucky at the end of this season they didnt blow it and almost having the worst meltdown in sports history doesnt help their cause

Last night's game was tough to watch. Anthony Reyes is definitely not ready for playoff baseball. I like our chances tonight (If it doesn't get rained out, it's currently raining in STL) against the Mets. Glavine is going out on short rest and the Cards are ready to their revenge on him for Game 1. Game 5 is a must-win for the Cards. If they lose this one, they have to win both games 6 & 7 in New York.

GO CARDS!!!!!

Yesterday's game was nice to watch. Now the Mets have to continue on the right path to get to the promised land. It's anyones series, but I have to go with my Mets!
