Do those of you on the pill get the feeling that you're more moody and irritated at some points of the cycle (rather towards the end)? Sometimes I get these extreme mood swings, and I'm not sure if the pill has anything to do with it or whether I'm simply a moody person. What have been your experiences with this pill?

Honey, stop that pill right now. My best friend almost died from it. She had a brain clot that was causing like epilepsy attacks. Then she got so moody that went from neurologist to psychiatry. Later one, we found out other Yasmine users went thru similar cases. She stopped Yasmine and since then she became a belly dancer instructor and a sweet mother of twins.

im not taking yasmine but that pill has a bad history of side affects. any pill will give u those kind of mood swings, and also make u very emotional..but thats becuase of taking hormones. if you are reacting to them badly u should try using a low hormone pill like LoEstrin.

I was formerly on this pill, and I noticed that I was definitely more hormonal than usual. Yasmin is a different blend of hormones than most of the other pills.
