Overrated: Martinsville Speedway, too slow, and too may cautions.

Underrated: Texas Motor Speedway, one of the fastest racetracks on the schedule, and has a large purse in both races.

Overrated: All the new "cookie cutter" tracks. Nothing says excitement like single file racing on a 1 groove track, waiting to see who'll run out of fuel first. Wake me when it's over.

Underrated: Rockingham (R.I.P.) Great track, exciting side by side racing, 3 grooves, tricky to race, ate rookies for breakfast. Too bad it's located in one of the most economically depressed areas of NC. After NAFTA, all the plants and mills closed, and all the jobs went to Mexico.

Most Overrated - Daytona & Talladega due to the dreaded "restrictor plate". California Speedway looks like it came from a production line. Most Underrated - the 'Late Great Ontario Motor Speedway', may it rest in peace, I miss you.

Overrated - surely Daytona. "The Great American Race?" "I'd rather win Daytona than the Championship?" For a track that uses puny engines and where winning is decided by whether the guy in back of you follows you when you try to pass? Ludicrous.

Underrated - Watkins Glen. The best driver wins more often there than anywhere else.

Overrated- both road courses. Just can't get used to so many turns. Save it for road course cars.

Underrated- Lowe's Motor Speedway (as long as Humpy doesn't levigate it again!)

Over rated tracks include any track that has taken races from the founding tracks,or have sued to get race dates.
Underated are the tracks under a mile in length.
