as more and more people are born with mixed heritage who may in turn marry someone of mixed heratige, do you think eventually there will be one race?

Oh that would be wonderful, one race, the human race, not in our time though sadly. But we can all dream eh.
I have various extremely close friends from various other cultures and races, and I feel that that only enriches my life, and visa versa, I just wish this could catch on, we can all dream I suppose.

No. There are too many cultures that prohibit marrying outside one's religion and race. While we are getting muddier, it will never be a case of everyone looking the same. I have 5 nationalities in my heritage, but I consider myself of the human race and if everyone else would stop using our differences as a reason to hate one another, maybe we could stop having so much war and killing on the planet. If Bush has his way we'll wipe out everyone who doesn't look like us.

If you look beyond and outside of all you have been taught about race it is arguable that we are all humans and therefore one race,the human race.The more we encourage people to think in four dimensional terms the closer we will be to everybody only seeing one race.

no; the person who on that race wouldn't be happy just winning once; plus everyone who lost will want to challenge that winner to see if they can do better. It doesn't seem sensible just to have one race. There should be a tournament. That's more healthy competition.

No I do not think there ever well be one race. That is just not possible there is to many people and to many different races.
