my ex wife had told me that their is some unclaimed money that is owed to me.. and i can't remember were can i go to get this info?

Try changing the "tx" to your states two letter code and it should take you to the unclaimed property site. I seem to remember seeing a link in the Texas website that will take you to other states as well.
Unfortunately - I didn't have any. :(

Go to http://www.unclaimed.org there are links there to the unclaimed money databases maintained in all 50 states. Click on your state and follow the directions for searching there (every state is different).
Don't fall for any of those e-mail you might get from "brokers" who want to help you claim your unclaimed money. They will help you get it for a small 10%-30% fee - you can do it yourself for free by going directly to your state's Secretary of State web site from unclaimed.org.

go to the website for the treasury department for your state. there should be an area to look up unclaimed funds.
