I am not going to agree because I don't really need the points, I am going to tell the truth!! no matter how much it may hurt!!
Robin Hood was in fact born 'Philip Hardcastle' in Scunthorpe , he grew into a 'very nice' man and used to play in 'Ilkley Moor Woods' Not far from the 'TAT' area of Scunthorpe!!
He was eventually arrested in that very area for playing in the woods with other 'nice' men whilst wearing bright green tights!!
The rest of the story I must leave to your imagination!!
But these are all facts which have been suppressed by the Catholic church to this date!! In fact they have a pair of his tights locked away in the Vatican, and can only be viewed by the Scunthorpe Church Elders!!
I wrote a book on the subject but only 3 copies were sold, All in the Scunthorpe area!!
Hope this helps???

If this is some kind of reference to Robin Hood Airport, then I guess the name is having the right impact, it's making you think about where the airport located, what area it is in and what tourist attractions are close.
It just happens to be a fact, that the airport is closer to Nottingham forest than Nottingham town centre is to the forest!
Is Nottingham East Midlands airport in Nottingham or Leicester!!
If your question has no reference to the airport and is actually about Robin Hood, then forget you read this!!!!

If I agree with this will you choose mine as best answer. I do agree. Yorkshire = puddings. Sheffiled + Knives and Jarvis Cocker. Nottingham = Robin Hood.

Robin Hood will always be associated with Nottingham, and if anyone doesn't think so, then I wouldn't give a Friars Tuck

I never knew that anyone was saying anything other than Nottingham. Even when I think of a modern-day sheriff the prhrase 'sheriff og nottingham" jumps into my head.
