My wife's name is Darla so I think it is beautiful! It really fits her. Very rural.

I do like Charlotte. Lila will be mispronounced, I fear.

Wow! different approach to my friends who've had babies - they wouldn't tell anyone what they were thinking of because they didn't want to be influenced. I know I'd be like you and want to get people's opinions, or any excuse really just to talk about it - picking a child's name is really exciting. I like Charlotte, because it's elegant as a long name and has Lotty and Charlie for short names. Lila is lovely too. Not so keen on Darla. How do they sound with your surname? I think that's important. And do the initials look OK? (As in one of my friends was very nearly called William until they realised that his initial's would be W.C!) Good luck with chosing!

I must say, I'm not keen on either first name. Massimo makes me think of a big, fat bloke, and David's just too common. For Scottish names I like: Adair, Broden, Caelan, Cameron, Dougal, Fergus, Kendric, Lachlan, Laird, Murray and Nathair. There is also a Scottish name which means 'twin'. It's different variations are: Tamnais, Taveon, Tavey, Tavin, Tavio, Tavion, Tavis, Tavish, Tavon, Tevin and Tevis. Here are some nice Italian names: Alessandro, Antonio, Federico, Francesco, Gianni, Ilario, Lorenzo, Leonardo, Marco, Piero, Sebastiano and Stefano. In Italian the name Tomasso also means 'twin'. Hope that helped.

I like Charlotte, Darla is just ok. and Lila is just ok too. I have always liked Alexandria for a girl and she could go by Alex. or Samantha, and Sam or Samy.

Congrats!

I think Charlotte is adorable...they will probably call her Charlie for short when she is older.
I don't care for Darla much
And Lila is an absolute beautiful name! I like that one the most!!

PLEASE cross Darla off your list. That's just mean to the poor girl.

Charlotte is OK, but be prepared for all possible nicknames and spelling errors.

Lila is very nice.

I like them. If I ever had a little girl I think I would name her Layla. I have always liked that.

I really like Charlotte from that list myself. You could call her Charlie.
