They killed Theo Van Gogh for critisizing their mores in one of his movies. Walid Shoebat author of :"Why I left Jihad" is in hiding for his life. They made threats because of the Cartoons. Some said that the Pope should be put to death.

This is what Winston Churchill had to say about Islam in 1899

“How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries! Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy. The effects are apparent in many countries. Improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce, and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live. A degraded sensualism deprives this life of its grace and refinement; the next of its dignity and sanctity. The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property – either as a child, a wife, or a concubine – must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men.

Individual Moslems may show splendid qualities. Thousands become the brave and loyal soldiers of the Queen; all know how to die; but the influence of the religion paralyses the social development of those who follow it. No stronger retrograde force exists in the world. Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytizing faith. It has already spread throughout Central Africa, raising fearless warriors at every step; and were it not that Christianity is sheltered in the strong arms of science – the science against which it had vainly struggled – the civilisation of modern Europe might fall, as fell the civilisation of ancient Rome.”

Their religion is going through change. When there is change things are not in line (yet). It seems to me some of the views are very ignorant. Maybe because that's how they are taught. I have no problem with islam. It just seem they want to be judge, jury, and executioner for the stupidest things. Cartoons depicting Mohammed, SO WHAT?!! Women not wearing Burqa's, SO WHAT? I respect Islam but not my belief, SO WHAT? The more you learn the more free you are. I just think they have to get used to that.

No. because of the fact i believe germs, genetics, and environmental components reason maximum ailments. some are brought about by utilising components we choose for to place into our bodies in extra. Which, i assume, you are able to call "sin." yet, killing the fatty or the alcoholic does not something to circumvent ailment in others...

Death penalties are barbaric, counter-productive and archaic. Probably why America has them.

Only muslims say islam is peaceful.
Killing is nothing for them, they also cut hands and fingers of thieves.
And the way they execute is very brutal, they gather people and
throw rocks at the person until he/she dies.
Read Quran and see for yourself how violence this religion is,
in many places it says "Kill infedels until there is no trouble".
read http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Banu_Qurayza, and they beheaded 900 jews in one day and sold their families as slaves.
