You should play them both through the amp you'll use. Spend some time with each one, see which one you like better, and decide on that basis.

I'd go with the Angus myself

The Angus Young (in my opinion) has better pickups.

They are both fantastic guitars but the sg is a staple of RnR. Decide what you really want from an axe and go with your instincts. Good luck.
