My definiton of love is best stated in the Bible, 1 Corinthians 13:4-8
Love is patient,
love is kind.
It does not envy, it does not boast,
it is not proud
It is not rude, it is not self-seeking,
it is not easily angered,
it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil,
but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts,
always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails.

When the person is always on your mind
When you could always find something to talk about.
When you always want to be with them
When you never want to leave them
When you could hold or kiss them forever
When you would never grow bored of them
When you neveer think about another guy/girl
When you know he/she is the best thing that has happened to you
When slow or love songs come on and all you think about is them
When you can't wait to talk to them or call them
When everytime the phone rings you want it to be them
When you can tell them anything without them being critical
When you are always awaiting the next time you see them
When there your everything.
I could go on forever about how I feel about my boyfriend. I love him SOO Much.

To me love is when you can love a person unconditonally. You can get past whatever bad comes, you would protect the person with your life. If they were in the line of fire and you had to think twice about stepping in front of them to save them, then to me you're not in love.
I've been with my husband 17 years and it keeps getting better.

when you love someone you are willing to do and want to do things for them that sometimes cost you.
'love is blood and guts, commitment to the end'
love is not hearts and flowers and happy faces and googlie eyes. love is a commitment you make to another person. you love your kids, and even though you don't want to stay up til 2am when they are running a fever you do because you love them.

Love is not to be confused with lust. I believe you can love someone without liking them too.
