Up until 12 weeks pregnacy is the time that most miscarriges happen. As you enter you 2 trimester the risk drops with there is always a chance something goes wrong. By your mid 2 to birth your chancing are pretty slim but ever pregnant mother will tell you, you are always worried if your baby is moving enough or growing well.

A friend of mine has had 9 miscarriages. The first 8 were between 24-26 weeks. Then she had a little boy who weighed 1lb. 3oz. at 24 weeks. He is now 11. Two years ago she had another miscarriage at 23 weeks. I don't know if there is less chance but everyone is different. My mom lost my big brother at 24 weeks.

maximum people trust that you've a decreased probability of miscarriage once you attain 3 months or "12 weeks". each and every being pregnant is diverse and each and every pregnant female is diverse, so there is not any longer one instantly answer, when you're healthful and performance no historic previous of miscarriage on your relatives, i might want to assert that the probabilities of miscarriage are very slender regardless of ways far alongside you're... congrats on the recent infant!

ya your chances get better, but you are not really ever out of the chance box. But at about 16 weeks you can count on having a baby for sure. At twelve weeks is when I get excited.

Yes for sure. I had a miscarrage many years ago and was so nervous about this baby.
My doctor told me that each week the chances are less and less of having a miscarrage. Good luck to you and your sweet baby!
