Since i've used both cars , i can guide you better .
SInce Alto's engine has 4 valves per cylinder whch makes it engine give max output of 47 bhp while 800 gives only 37bhp , this extra power helps in running AC more effectively , also the specs of AC of alto are much higher than 800's.
I hope i'm clear enough.

The AC in Maruti Suzuki Alto is superior to the 800 MX
M 800 AC: Single way output DC supply
M Alto LX: Duplex way output with simultaneous cooling and AC/DC optional supply.
When the car engine is turned off, the AC draws power from the Dynamo and switches from DC to AC when the engine is turned on.
In alto, both the channel ducts for ACs can be operated at the same time, while in 800 MX after one duct is cooled, it switches off so that the power can be used in order to cool the other duct.
the Alto is better than the 800.

The Alto's AC is much more powerfull and effective than the M800's AC...
There are two main reasons for the same..
Firstly, The compressor of Alto is bigger in capacity than the M800's...Thus it has more cooling efficiency and can cool more area than the 800's AC...However, as the interior space amongst the two cars is not much, therefore Alto has better cooling performance...
Secondly in M800, there are only 3 AC grills on the Dashboard, whereas Alto packs 4 grills...This results in more effective circulation of cold air and hence more cooling..
Also due to larger cubic capacity of Alto compressor, Air is circulated in a better manner than in M800...
Ofcourse the engine is better tuned to handle bigger AC unit..Also Alto has a 32 bit Microprocessor, whereas M800 does with a 16 bit Microprocessor and this results in a overall better performance in all respects..
Moreover, Alto has a 4 valve per cylinder architecture whereas M800 has only 3 valves per cylinder...

Since the alto engine is marginally more powerful than that of the 800, with approximately the same weight, the AC of the alto is more effective.
