The email came from a yahoo.co.uk address. It says that I have won and they said I should pay $568.00 at my nearest western union location. However, when I requested more information about how much I have won, they only sent me the information of the tnt courier fees that I would need to pay ($568.00) and not the amount I have won. What would you do?

Report them to ABUSE at your ISP provider, like for example "abuse@AOL.com".

It is a scam wanting to steal your money and give you nothing.

Of course it is a scam. If you haven't given them your Social Secirity number or any account number they might not have enough information yet to steal from you, but they may be close. You should expect to see more spam and scams, and you have to be extra careful, because it will look more "personalized" and therefore harder to distinguish from something real. If you get anything that looks like maybe you should respond to, look up the stated business, bank, government office, or whatever it claims to be, from a separate reliable source and contact them at that number, not the method requested in the email. Don't open file attachments from unconfirmed sources.

Yeah I got one last week that was a bill for a sex toy. Had a good time tracking that one down. Somebody has been sending them out in our area and several people I know got the same bill. Found out it was a scam by calling the company number on the bill. Your's may be a scam too. Look into it.

DON'T SEND IT!!!!! IT IS ONE OF THOSE EMAILS WHERE THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY. IF YOU DID WIN THEN YOU WON'T HAVE TO PAY A THING UNTIL AFTER YOU RECIEVE YOUR MONEY OR PRIZE.
