Do you mean "which is the better book to read?" or "which book has been more widely read?"
If it's the former, they are both worth reading. The Bible is perhaps a bit easier to understand because of the story telling style.
If it's the latter, I'm not sure. More Christians probably read the bible whereas many Muslims would hear the Koran recited rather than reading it themselves. You also have to consider the language aspect; technically the Koran can only be studied in Arabic and obviously not everyone who reads the Koran understands Arabic so may read it in translation, does that count?

hmm, hard to say. I'd say overall the Bible. Why not read them both?
I'd say start with the Bible just because it goes in chronological order, and is more detailed in the description and events that happened to people.
The chapters of the Koran are random, and the stories and people are vaguely described. Yet I do find the Koran more spiritually moving. But I wouldn't understand it without the Bible.
Go with the Bible, it's a 'better read'.
Peace.

Well I'm going with the Bible just because that's the way I was raised. I would be interested in knowing what the Koran teaches.

The bible of course. The Koran is unreadable, it's the book of blood.

The Koran is a very thought provoking book no matter what religion you are/arent.
The bible just seems a little...unbelievable...and way too angry.
Why are people here saying that you have to be Christian to read the bible or Moslem to read the Koran? That kind of attitude breeds ignorance. You dont have to be either to gain something meaningful from them.

Difficult question, on the one hand in the name of the Koran some people want to take over your country, and on the other hand, oh hang on a minute!
