When you can't smell you can't taste. Have you ever tried putting an orange under your nose while taking a bite of an apple. Guess what, the apple tastes just like and orange....go figure. I would recommend getting some Musonex from the store. It works wonders. Make sure you take it with at least 8 ounces of water. About 20 mins after you take it you will either cough up or sneeze out all of the mucus in your system.

I did this for my yr 8 sci fair :D Your tongue can only have the tastes sweet, sour, salty, bitter etc So when you taste the nerves signals from ur mouth and nose are sent to the brain and together they make a taste. I made my friends block their noses and guess the flavour of a jelly bean and then unblock it and guess again. All they tasted with their noses blocked was sweetness but no specific falvour. The brain uses both your nose and mouth to taste.

Don't do anything. You probably have a cold. It'll pass, and there will still be plenty of baked beans for you to enjoy.

Do you have a cold, or what?
If you do...use Sinex ultrafine mist (get it by the cold remedies in the drugstore) Stuff works great.
