There are 3 at each end for line calls (left right and centre)
Then there are 4 down one side, for each of the lines (2 baselines and 2 service line - despite the magic eye, they still have officials).
There is 1 on the net, for net calls on service.
Then there is the Umpire.
Then if there is a query there is the referee, but he/she can't be in attendance on every court at the same time.
In total that makes 13, but only 12 there permanently

I'm going with 10....

there are 3 in the back of each side of the court for a total of 6 and there are a total of 3 on the side ( 2 on the baselines and 1 to call serves on the service line, they move inbetween games) which makes for a total of nine. then there is the chair ump of course to make 10. The net judge has been replaced my an electronic system. poor guys with sinsitive fingers dont have a job anymore.

Just one. JP McEnroe. Never known to be wrong.
He can spot a ball being 0.00001mm out from 25metres.
