I watched the original "Jaws" last night

My wife and I went to see The Guardian, starring Kevin Costner and Ashton Kutcher at the theater Saturday, It was better than I thought it would be. Not that I thought it would be a "bad" movie, I just thought it was an excellent movie that told a good story and shed some light on the workings of the US Coast Guard.

I watched Shopgirl (Clare Danes, Steve Martin, Jason Schwartzman), and I really enjoyed it.
A quiet little movie.
OH! I also watched The Man in the Grey Flannel Suit. It's a classic with Gregory Peck and Jennifer Jones. I'd say it beats out Shopgirl as my best this week.

I saw two movies that I really enjoyed. The first one is "Quinceañera" and idependent film shot in LA. very good storyline and fair acting. The second one was "Shortbus" by John Cameron Mitchel the same guy that made "Hedwig and the Angry Inch". shorbus was really funny and it shows real sex scenes without being pornographic.

i only saw one movie this week - "gigli."
i didn't think it was that bad. and it had j-lo doing yoga and i think she's kind of sexy sometimes, so it was alright.
ben affleck's cool too.
one and a half thumbs up (i lost half my left thumb to a workplace injury.... (not really) i have a sick and bad sense of humor.)
