I am going as a Dominatrix for Halloween this year. I was trying to find some thigh high boots to go with my outfit. I have no ideas other than a riding crop and a spiked choker. How else does the dominatrix look? Can I have long black curly hair or do I have to have short butch type hair? Black nails or red? What kinds of things should I say? I am going to be this because I have no idea what they are about.. (I am the more submissive/equal type) I thought this would be fun to step "outside of the box" but husband thinks I'm gonna look like slut, any suggestions so I don't look slutty..(I already bought the costume from ebay and it is probably short). Thanks :)

A true Dominatrix would not wear a choker or collar - that would be for her submissive to wear. Wear your hair however you want - it doesn't matter. Red nails, not black. Fishnet or black hose with knee or thigh-high boots would be great but so would some sexy platforms shoes. Black opera length gloves would be an added touch. A whip or crop but not both - but a pair of handcuffs dangling from your waist would be good. Diva Fetish is a good way to describe the look.
Google "dominatrix" and look at the real people that do this for a living.

my suggestion is look out for pictures of Dita Von Teese.
she does dominatrix with a touch of 1940's glamor which is always several riding crops away from 'tarty' and much closer to powerful and feminine.

I hope your costume is a black latex catsuit!! You can also try a pair of black gloves. You will need some cuffs!! You might also need a leash for your 'sub'. How about a leather hat!!
You will look awesome and I bet your husband loves it!!!

Pull up some pics on line. Just go with it, hair probably won't matter. Just make sure you have your whip and boots and you are good to go.

thigh highs could run you quite a bit of money, mine were $80. you can try fredericks of hollywood or sometimes ebay does have them.
as for the look, its your personal preferance, however, black is always good no matter what!
