My first view visits the doctor told me that I was due on one date and now at 24 weeks my doctor says that they are keeping the due date that they have, but with measurements and by the ultrasound I am due 2 weeks earlier. What should I go by? I mean, the first date or the measurement date? If you are already a parent help me out.

The due date is just an estimate, it is not really the date the baby will be born. The first scans (the earliest) is the most accurate, from there it is just how much your baby is growing faster or slower than the average. Don't get to caught up with the "due date" it is just a reference.

The ultrasound, measurements, and the doctors calculations are always going to be off by a week or two. Go with the due date the doctor is giving you now.
With my first pregnancy the doctor told me I was due March 29 and as i got farther along it changed about 5 different times. My final date was March 15 and my baby was born on March 8.
The baby is going to come when the baby is ready. Congrats and best of luck!

I had a ultra sound at 17 weeks by my due date but the ultra sound suggested 15 weeks is how far I was. But the doc kept the due date the same because he said due dates can range between 2 weeks. I ended up having my baby boy just two days after my initial due date do I would suggest going by the date your doc gave you. Good Luck!

The due date is always +/- 2 weeks. No worries. My due date was Aug 15 and my first was born on July 27th.

i had this happen. the first date would be the most accurate for the due date. as babies grow faster at different times during the course of the pregnancy

I go by the most recent ultrasound. But don't get disapointed if you have to wait an extra few weeks. when the baby is due.

Your baby could be measuring a little bit big for gestational age but that doesn't necessarily mean you baby will be born two weeks earlier. Good luck.

You go by the first date. All babies are different in size, so it's not as accurate later on in your pregnancy. The first date they give you is off your LMP.

I would prob. follow what the dr. said unless you know date of conception. Which you obv. dont. Your measurments could be off. I have 3 and one of my preg. I was off a few cent. on measu. By the next mo it was just right.
