I have to ask are you really on the same planet as every-body else?
Re:- Should Life mean Life. Statistics like you quote, have been proven wrong time and time again. Who knows when someone will kill or maim, be it an adult or a child. You can not know ! !

Still, a life sentence should mean life. In America, if you sell drugs or steal a lot of money, your sentence will be harsh....usually 15 years minimum to life. Yet, rape a child, and you'll do less than 10 years in most states. I wish I could state that I am not on a planet like this. However, I do plan on helping people realize that they can readily help themselves.
