It wasn't enough to keep my marriage going.

But basically, love should be enough. We find it isn't enough when we cast blame, live without humor and forgiveness.

Love is only not enough, when one half stops loving the other.

True love is always enough.

Call me a hopeless romantic. I don't care.

Love is the epitome of life.

It's what makes the world go round. With love, you find compassion and kindness. It brings out the best parts of you. So there's almost you can't do.

For instance, people that are truly in love seem to be walking on clouds. Nothing fazes them. They are truly content because love has that effect.

Perhaps love is always enough when it's true.

But these days, people have these screwed up versions.
Like if you love me, you'll do this or that.
Love can't be defined by what you'll do and won't do for something.
It should be defined by emotions... the twinkle in your eye, the dance in your step, the melody in your voice, etc.

It cannot be measured or dictated.

Therefore, love is always enough...

It's one of the strongest foundations there is for life...

Without love, there's no purpose. There's just the day to day struggle to stay alive.

Definitely NOT!!

Love is so pure...so simple. But its effects are never-ending. I can't imagine how love could not be enough. Love never stops giving. It is the one thing that continues to grow and spread to every cell of your being until it has to spread to others in a contagious manner that makes it the grandest thing ever! It is enough. But love will never be satisfied with just being enough.........thus why it grows and spreads to everyone it can. But for each of us it touches.........we do a "pay it forward" kinda thing.

Hmmmm....so maybe its not enough just to love.....maybe love makes you need to give more love back in return. And that.. well that certainly can't be a bad thing at all.

Yes, Not long ago I only needed to be with him. Then slowly I realized there was life going on around me and as I tried to incorporate him into my life it did not work. So I gave up the drug and moved on. I am wondering if I could have lived just a little longer on love. I sure do miss it.

First... You would have to find me someone that knows what love actually is, before you went on to find out if it is enough.

Love = Unconditional

I don't know of many people who really get the magnitude of that.

I think when the reality of living in this world sets in, people discover that love isn't enough for them.

I was going to say NO, but you know what.....some people have different ways of showing love. I know now that in order to feel loved I have to be worshipped and respected. He has to make me feel like I am everything....I also have to feel like he is everything to me. He must be my first thought in the morning and my last thought as I fall asleep.......now if I could just find him!

Most definitely. For example, in a marriage if only one of the two partners is committed to the relationship, it's impossible for the other person to make it work - no matter how committed.

I don't think there has been a time when love was enough. It also takes commitment, loyalty, communication, understanding and compassion.
