It seems to me that only women's clothes have back fastenings/zips: bras, some skirts and dresses, some swimsuits.

Except for a few specialized clothes like wetsuits, I don't know of any male clothes that have back fastenings.

Why is this? Why is it only women who have to deal with back fastenings? Surely they are a lot less convenient than front fastenings? Are there any "everyday" male clothes that fasten at the back?

Someone said that women don't have back fastenings on shirts and pants. I have pants with a back zip and one of my friends has a blouse that buttons up the back.

This is such a good question. I can't think of any. Hmm I wonder why this is...

**Maybe because it is more feminine to have a sleek front (pants) whereas on a male they would prefer to have a bulge, because it is a masculine thing.

Same reason that your buttons are the "wrong" way.

Long ago, women that could afford clothing with fasteners were wealthy and had servants to do all the fastening. The advent of mass production did not alter the basic designs in use.

Think on it.

i think of that's a mixture of mens want to the touch women human beings and make us fairly based on them, hidding the fastening or final interior the main seemless way and making an outfit extra wholesome closer to the physique.

What do men have that would NEED a zipper on the back?

Not pants.. not shirts... women don't even have zippers on the backs of pants or shirts either.

So what else IS there?

Nothing.

So it's not that men's clothing isn't supposed to have zippers on the back, it's that they have no clothes that would need a zipper anyway.
