Well I live in the Tampa Bay area and I'm a huge Bucs fan and I know exactly what you're talking about with the Media being very hard on the Bucs....especially this year! But I don't mind it b/c when we win they praise them a lot!

Every team reaches a pinnacle of success, as has Green Bay and there is nowhere to go but down, which is what has happened. If you are a true fan, you know there will be good days and bad, just like in a relationship, lol. The Packers are Green Bay and their favorite son, Brett Favre is leaving this year, so give them some slack. It is going to be tough when he retires, this coming from a die hard Pack fan!

While not Philly or NYC tough, the media in Green Bay and in WI can be critical of the Packers. My hometown paper isn't all flowers and kisses for the team. When they play bad the say it. There is a difference between being critical and throwing yourself off a building! Here in the Denver area people act like their life is over if the Broncos lose and they are ready to trade the whole team. Packer fans cheer their team in good times and bad (even though we groaned when Favre fumbled in the last game). We're in it for the long haul...so help us God!

i thought that the Packers were owned by the people, maybe that the reason why +they have such a great tradition,i think that the people in Milwaukee take pride in going to a game with there family well alone, its a part of there life.probably 1 of the best fan bases in the NFL or if not the best.i don't think that other fans that are cheering for there team really get it. i mean to stand behind there team when there bad or good.point is ,these teams will never have the history that some of the teams have in the NFL because they have no faith and no will to Cheer for there team when there down.

Green Bay is a team with a history of winning and Super bowls. The folks of Green Bay support their team through thick and thin.

Maybe people in Wisconsin are true fans, know their teams is going to have ups and downs and it doesn't do any good to throw a temper tantrum over it. (It is after all, just a game.)

No, they are not. Loyal fans and relaxed media is what all teams need.
