In the bible GOD is indentified(Jehovah) The Son(Jesus) Why wouldn't the Holy Sprit be indentifed with a name? I beleive there's only 2. The Holy Sprit being GOD's active force.

according to catholicism they are 3 parts of the same entity. the father (god) son (Jesus - his physical manifestation) and the holy spirit or ghost (maybe when people say they see god or hear him speak this is him, dont know) the only man to ever see god was Moses and the reason he hid his face when he did is because it was said that anyone who saw god's likeness would die.

they are the same and yet they are different, the bible does not specifically call it the trinity although my youth pastor explained it like this...God's Trinity is like water at room temperature it is liquid when you freeze it it is ice and when you boil it it turns into steam so even though it is three different things its still water the whole time. the same is true of God
