If you are going to be an adult enough to be married, then you should also be able to support yourself. My engagment was 10 months and I had a job and my own place to live! I have found that a strong marriage is one where both people can be self-supporting adults!

Yep. i might want to say he has no intentions of marriage. at the same time as engagements very last ridiculously lengthy as we talk, favourite is a million-3 years. An engagement ability you're literally planning a wedding ceremony, and six years it does no longer take. for sure, it also might want to were a ploy to get her to flow in so he might want to get conventional sex and he maintains to have excuses (no longer sufficient money, situations no longer accurate, this is only a chunk of paper).

Dont wait around for men who dont want to commit..2 years tops..life is much to short..some men have good enough income to support you both while u have the kids..but then again he moves on with his career u remain stagnant and criticised for not doing anything with your life..so guess get a job..and say heck with raising kids ..I always thought it was job or kids.when a woman does job and kids it really ages her that getting up at 5am well it takes its toll....i dunno..the men in my life always wanted me barefoot and pregnant and worked full time why I stayed home..it didnt bother me to stay home and raise kids..but now it does cuz other women say my God men always came to your rescue..and it is like yeah sorry..I never had to work..its just been this way..sorry ..If the a s s was good they didnt mind working for me while I stayed home and cooked and cleaned it seemed good to me!!..I had some part time jobs..but mostly just raised kids..and still am..raising children..so work if it makes u happy ..if he wants u to stay home and that makes u happy do that..it is all in the decision of the couple other people need to mind their own business.

Yes you still need to work...engagement...well they last anything usually from 6 months to 2 years. Anything longer than that and you should of just stayed friends.unless your'e saving for a huge wedding and house downpayment or something.
