Late pregnancies are caused by a variety of factors, not just pregnancy. Stress, sleeping or eating disorders, and hormonal imbalances are just a few reasons. If you're worried about pregnancy and late periods, go see a doctor and start taking pills. Contraceptive pills also regulate your period as well as keeping you from having to worry about things like this.

Yes there is still a slight possibility that you could be pregnant, however you should not worry yet. I remember couple months ago I didnt get my period for 3 weeks. It turns out it was late because I had been very stressed out at that time and the hormones fluctuated accordingly. I suggest you go and get a pregnancy test done at the doctor's to ease your worry. If you go to a teen clinic like planned parenthood they give you the results in ten minutes. You just have to pee into a cup. Its very easy.

It depends on when you took the test. If you took it within the past couple of day then you probably are not pregnant. If you took it a week or so ago then I would recommend testing again just to be sure. Using first morning urine is always the best because it has higher levels of the pregnancy hormone in it which is what causes the test to work.

I would go to the Doctor. Sometimes home pregnancy are not right, Just go see your doctor and he/she will till you for sure.
I would be a little worried since it is 12 days late, but that can be caused by stress, hormones, anything.
Good Luck!
