It could just be that you are out of the first trimester and you simply feel better. But just to be safe, call your doc. As long as you aren't bleeding or having major pain, you're fine.

Actually I've heard quite a few women say they have notice some shrinkage at around 12 weeks or so because the early pregnancy bloat is being replaced by the actual baby belly. What you have lost was some of the bloat so your belly isn't quite as big.
Also, according to most doctors, 14 weeks starts the second trimester, which is what I call the "Honeymoon" of pregnancy. I call it that because this is the one time you can actually really enjoy being pregnant! Morning sickness usually fades by then (mine vanished suddenly at 13 weeks) and you start to actually feel like a normal person. My son is 4 months old and I didn't feel pregnant for most of my 2nd trimester. That is totally normal.
But of course, if you are still not sure, you should call your OB to get checked out.
Good luck with your pregnancy!

Sweetie, while I hate to discount your gut feelings I really doubt that anything is wrong. The time that you are in during your pregnancy is a time when you DO feel really good and almost "not pregnant". In the early weeks it is not uncommon to feel and look bloated and like you are showing already.
You are entering your second trimester which is the time when you are least bothered by the side effects of pregnancy and a time when most of us feel really well.
I think that you should try to enjoy your pregnancy and look forward to all the wonderful things that are ahead of you, like feeling the baby move for the first time.
Having said that, if you continue to have this strong feeling that something is wrong, call your doctor and insist on being seen. No one knows your body better than you do and if you are convinced that something is wrong, have a check up.
I hope everything works out for you. Let me know!
Love and Blessings

When I was 15 weeks I felt exactly like you did and I even had some pain. The doc decided to do an ultra sound since I was convinced that something was wrong. It ended up being nothing because my baby boy was growing perfectly. If it is your first child like mine was it could be that you are done with the hard first trimester and you are starting to feel much better and the pain that I felt was just all my muscles stretching for the first time. The second trimester is the best! Good Luck and just follow your gut the ultrasound definitely helped me calm my nerves and just sit back and enjoy my miracle that was developing!

I am 13 weeks also, same issue. Last week I had a belly, this week not as much, and my tenderness in the breasts is gone. If you are concerned call your OB. They have a line for you to call and ask any question, any question at all. At this stage unless you can feel the baby, you don't really feel pregnant. Welcome to the 2nd trimester! What day are you due in April?

You may just be past that bloated stage. You need to remeber that our bodies do strange things while we are pregnant. It is normal to feel nothing but normal during your 4 and 5 month. Enjoy it because it will not last long. Go to the doc if you have concerns though.

I am in my first trimester and have been having awful bloating and gas pain. I have heard once you are into the second trimester you start to feel better, maybe that is what happened. I would check with the doctor just to ease your worries.

You are entering your second trimester and feel better. As far as feeling less bloated, that's because your body has pretty much spread out for the baby growing inside. If you are really worried talk to your doctor. Congrats and good luck!

You're probably okay. I know it's hard at the beginning when you don't really "feel" pregnant. But don't worry, soon you will! Maybe the bloated feeling was due to some extra water retention. Try not to worry! And congratulations on your pregnancy!!!

Anything that concerns you should be reported to your Ob. Dr. It is most likely that you are out of your first trimester of pregnancy. Alot of the pregnancy symptoms disappear after the first trimester. Just call your Dr. It will releave your mind if nothing else. Worry and stress are not good during pregnancy. Your Dr.'s office will be more than willing to address any concerns you might have. That is what they are there for.
