You have a couple options.
Have you tried talking to him? When he says that, just say "I'm just curious, but why do you call me names everyday?" He might think it's funny or he might have a mistaken impression about you. Maybe you can correct a misconception. If he thinks it's funny, you can say that you don't. This is best, because he won't feel like you're attacking him (never mind that he's verbaly attacking you!) or that you're trying to go over his head.
If you want to spar a little with him, you could also ask him why he can't make up his mind--are you fascist or communist? They're completely opposite political philosophies. Tell him to make up his mind!
If you don't want to talk to him or you try it and it doesn't work, go to his supervisor or to HR. Maybe they can intervene on your behalf. Or you can ask to be changed to a new supervisor.
Sometimes, however, nothing works. I just left a job because of a terrible supervisor. The rules at my company stated that the supervisor had to sign off on everything, including a supervisor change. Mine wouldn't do anything for me, even when the CEO himself asked her to sign off on the supervisor change. So I quit, and now they're rewriting the policy.

Go to your human resources person. There is a harrassment hotline you can call. No matter if you have done or said anything, what he is doing is a form of harrassment and is against the law. You can not lose your job because that would be false termination and you can sue him/the company for that.
Try to talk to him about it first with a non-biased third party there first to resolve the issue. If you don't want to do that because you don't want the confortation then go to your human resources person.
You don't have to put up with it. Period.
There is something to be done, you just have to go about it the right way. Retalliation is not good as it can get you in trouble also.
Good Luck.
ps, you can't record him without letting him know you are doing so as that is against the law. if you do it is not submissable as evidence if you record without his permission.

I suspect he is having a joke at the expense of your mild mannered nature - i.e. he thinks you need to get off the fence and join in some of the livelier office world debates with a bit more enthusiasm.
It's probably not the most endearing way to go about it, but he probably thinks he's helping you feel like one of the lads.
So yeah, tell him evrything's much better now he's got the squad lined up to ethnically cleanse his white collar family or something. Either that, or flip him off.

As tempting as it is to call him Hitler or some other terible name say something calm collected and intelligent.Do not say something rash or something that you haven't carefully considered .Ask him why he calls you these names and then if nothing changes file a complaint with your states board of employment.Or quit in a dramatic fit of rage and passion you don't want to work for some one like that any way.

A simple "You know, that's getting really old" as you walk by might do the trick, especially if it's accompanied by an oh-so-slight roll of the eyes and shake of the head. Don't stop - don't give it that much credence. Make him feel stupid, without actually coming right out and saying, "You're a moron. Shut up already."

Did you know you have legal rights in this case. Legally your boss is considered to be creating a hostile work environment, which is illegal. You have specific rights and can file legal action against him.
Contact the U.S. Department of Labor. Go to DOL.gov to find a local office.

a hundred% not widely used. This guy is a creep! he's your boss. You somewhat comprehend him and he's using the shown fact which you're kind new, green and vunerable (all of us are if we concern that complaining will alienate us or loose us our jobs) to exploit you bodily. i comprehend how uncomfortable you experience by way of fact my buddy and that i made the blunders of hugging a guy at a delightful Goth nightclub (extra of a social extremely)...and because we've been doing it in the spirit of a occasion...he spent something of the night hugging US extra desirable than every physique else on the excuse that we've been the novices. In hindsight, we ought to consistently have been somewhat extra stern with him....yet in basic terms such as you, we feared alienation from something of the team..who have been extremely friendly. I empathise. One attitude to handle him is have a be conscious with him and tell him you're uncomfortable being hugged notably when you consider which you are the only one that is hugged. tell him you prefer to start from scratch as in case you have been strangers then you definately could have the potential to paintings on your convenience zone. the 2d attitude...and positively thus the extra effective one, is to bypass over his head and communicate on your "huge boss" approximately his behaviour. according to probability huge Boss could have a be conscious with him so which you do not ought to...or bypass extra with diciplinary action consistent with how strongly you experience approximately this. ultimately...I definitely have hugged my bosses before. i've got been fortunate to paintings for some extremely large people and the hugs have been suited by way of fact they have been exterior of paintings..on "paintings nights out". asserting goodnight on the top of the night became consistently with a around of hugs! (women and adult men people!) that's nonetheless a solid theory to maintain paintings and homestead existence seperate, yet paintings-nights out, BBQ's etc may be an exceedingly stable way of getting to renowned your faculties extra effective. in case you have shared some exciting concepts it makes it extra handy to rub alongside in the place of work. place of work jokes, exciting concepts and shoulders to cry on in case you get disillusioned at paintings are all in basic terms positive.... on your words! Rule a million) do not go through soreness just to be well mannered!
