...is going through Alan Trammell's head right now?

I was thinking the exact same thing Georgie - Especially with all the buzz about Leyland right now.

Again I agree - I really hope Trammell is remembered for being the great player he was (my favorite growing up) rather than the manager of a horrible year.

We have season tickets and a lot of 84 Tigers were sitting in the stands watching this year at the games.

I haven't seen, or heard from, him all season.

I think him and Bob Cluck are running that baseball school in San Diego.

I think it's sad the way he left, but it was understandable.
He was a great player, not so good as a manager.

I am sure he is happy to see The Tigers doing so well, but at the same time he is probably thinking why couldnt they do that when he was managing.

EDIT:
I had forgot to mention that Jim Leyland has given major props to Trammell for setting up what was already there. Leyland said he would have never gotten this far without all of Trammell's devotion to The Tigers.

I think Dombrowski should give him, and the boys (Lance & Kirk), a WS ring this year for helping to develope this team inito what it is today.

Detroits Buck Schowalter!

The only difference is that the Yankees went on to win 3 in 4 years. We have yet to see if the Tigers can even win 1. I doubt they will, the Mets are just too strong to be beaten by a team that couldn't even win one game of three against the KC Royals to win their division.

I am sure he is very happy for the Tigers!

I can't really top Georgie's answer, so I'll just second what he said.
