I'm in need of some information on how to construct a demo tape of my voice to submit to talent agents. I'm not sure what or where to find the material to record. Can you just make up your own "commercials"? Is it acceptable to just read passages from a novel? I'm completely clueless about this. Please help! Thanks.

Find a person that actually records voice over tapes for actors. They should help you find the appropriate copy to read and help you flesh out your voice. It's going to cost you a couple of thousand dollars but it's worth it. You will only get work if your tape sounds totally professional.

for the blade, once you get in course of the top, perhaps about an inch from the toe, proceed taping as you've been before (overlapping a touch on each and every bypass), yet rather of ending on the accurate/bottom of the blade, proceed out an inch or so, and fold the tape over. now flow decrease back on the different area of the blade, and tape as you would possibly want to regularly back. this is truly a sq. around the toe of the blade. you ought to diminish around the toe with scissors and there ya flow. sorry if it doesn't make sense, this is kinda demanding to describe.

Not if you want to be seen as a professional. Voice over tapes are SPECIFIC. No novels! If you don't know what you are doing take a voiceover class!
